Privacy Policy

Profit Champions is an e-commerce profitability dashboard that helps merchants track their real profit by connecting to their store and advertising platforms. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Shopify store data — orders, products, and product costs imported via the Shopify OAuth API. This includes order amounts, dates, line items, and associated product prices.
• Shopify account email — the store owner's email address, used solely to identify your account within the app.
• Meta Ads data — ad spend and campaign metrics imported via the Meta Marketing API (if you connect Meta Ads).
• Google Ads data — ad spend and campaign metrics imported via the Google Ads API (if you connect Google Ads).

We do not collect personal data about your customers beyond what is included in order records (e.g. anonymised customer IDs used for repeat-purchase analysis).

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Calculate your store's real profit after costs and ad spend
• Display analytics, charts, and customer metrics inside the dashboard
• Identify your account so you can log in securely

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, share it with third parties (other than what is strictly required for the integrations below), or use it to train machine learning models.

Profit Champions connects to external platforms on your behalf using OAuth. Each platform has its own privacy policy:

• Shopify — shopify.com/legal/privacy
• Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — facebook.com/privacy/policy
• Google — policies.google.com/privacy

OAuth access tokens obtained from these platforms are encrypted before being stored in our database.

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. We apply industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption of OAuth access tokens at rest
• HTTPS for all data in transit
• Restricted database access limited to the application

No security system is infallible. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@profit-champions.com.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you uninstall the Profit Champions app from Shopify, we will delete your store data within 48 hours in accordance with Shopify's mandatory data erasure webhooks.

You can also request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see section 7 below).

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — request that we delete your account and all associated data
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Objection — object to processing of your data in certain circumstances

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@profit-champions.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Profit Champions uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a notice within the app before the changes take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
